I thought you all might be interested to see what my sister made me now. It is pretty big but this was her first try with her new decal making machine. She says she will resize it a little next time. I think I will put it on the door to my shop/laboratory/reloading/loafing area.

At one time we had a chatroom here until Yuku took over as the host management company and it went away. In looking through the control panels I realized I can put one back up again. It now appears at the top of the main page. Who knew?

Well it's that time of year again. Me and Fast Eddie are in North Dakota to terrorize the prairie pothole region. We've done a mix of field hunts, lake hunts, and pothole hunts. HALF WAY PET SCAN SHOWS GREAT NEWS.

I had my half way pet scan to see how my chemo is working and it was the best news that we could have heard. The tumor has shrunk by 30% and the cancer suv level in my body is down by 50%. Also I had a couple of lymphnodes involved and those have cleared up and also the liquid surrounding my lung with malignant cancer cells has totally gone away. changing career path

I have been riding around with a few of my local conservation officer and really enjoy everything we do so i have decided to pursue a career as a conservation officer. I will be starting my first semester of conservation law at Vincennes University starting this January. Some of my credits i have now will transfer so i should be on track to graduate in May of 2011. Hopefully all will go well and i will be able to find a position in Indiana after i graduate.

Monster deer found dead

A friend of mines brother found a dead buck last march when he was clearing some trails. This deer is huge. Its gross score is 204 and after deductions it was 201 it is a 10 pt. typical and has mass all the way out to the ends of his beams. I will try to get a pic soon.

I finally broke down and got a .223 (spent 5 1/2 years playing with 5.56mm in the Marines... oh well guess it works... lol) anyway...

I am wondering if there is anyone in the Northeastern part of Indiana who might be able to show me how to really call in some yotes...

Especially if you can meet somewhere around Roush Lake or Salamonie...

What broadheads are you guys using for deer?? I just baught some 100gr. G5 Strikers last weekend and they are the best flying fixed blade broadheads I have ever shot. They hit exactly where my field tips do. My muzzys that I have been using for years always would fly about 4" low and to the right of my field tips. The G5's are extremely sharp out of the package, The sharpest I have seen. I have tried the mechanicals in the past but I dont like them I think they deflect on steep...
