Ok when I came home from work tonight I noticed a dog sized something at the fenceline in my backyard, now givin my 2 dogs are in the fenced in area going
nuts. So I run inside and grab my shotgun and a flashlight and head out back as I run towards the fence the thing takes off but not before I saw that it was a
coyote. So my problem is I live in a neighborhood is its not like I can call it into my backyard to send it to where it belongs, so I am wondering what the
best way to get rid of this...

i checked the law with 1 of our 4 cops and he said as long as i have a valid reason for firing a firearm, i.e. protecting my dogs from a coyote which from his
words i are out of control this year i should be fine whether its from my window or not. he basically said just be sure your back stop and kill that bastard.

That would be a weet bow kill, out the window. Just start a bait pile in your yard, and shoot it in th ehead with the pellet gun. There is nothing they can say
about a pellet gun because its not a firearm by definition. My uncle got his potatoe gun taken away for shooting it in town. 3 days later the cops came back
and gave it back to him and wanted to know how it worked.

I would call it in but my neighbors live like 50ft from me and they have all ready called the cops on me once for shooting my pellet gun. There isnt a woods,
theres a field with a heavily brushed creek line where it seems it has posted camp. Believe shooting it from my window was a thought, and just telling my
neighbors where to stick it. I'm gonna pick up a foot hold trap today when I'm out and give that a try. If that doesn't work it's second story
window sniper.

I asume ther is a woods in your back yard??? If so I would just call it in a wack it. Depends on how close your neighbors are etc. Set your caller out in the
yard and open the back window, make sure you have your ear plugs in. Just say it was attacking your dogs. Done deal.
