You can't beat a P'dog shoot for fun. I made my first prairie dog shoot last May. My son, two of my hunting/shooting buds, and myself went to South Dakota for 4 days of shooting. Total cost for each of us was about 350 dollars, maybe a little less. That was the hunting license, Super8 motel for 3 nights, food and gas. That's about as cheap a trip as anyone could ask for. I shot somewhere between 1100 and 1200 rounds of ammo. Already have another May trip planned. You should give it a try sometime.....best time I've ever had with a rifle.
