Here is the rest of the post the guy made:

Do any of you guys carry and if so what are you packing?

I keep pretty close tabs on my Browning Hi-Power 40S&W. It's an awesome gun, a little expensive but definately a tackdriver in the right hands. I am not much of a shot with a pistol but I have made a few decent shots with it.

Last week while running the trapline I jumped a groundhog out of a pasture field. He stopped at 40 yards and looked back at me so I pulled my Browning and let him have it. I missed him on the first shot but got him with the second and third round. The Hi-Powers are a pretty sharp looking gun but they are no longer in production to my knowledge... Browning has been kind of hit and miss with their handguns over the years. When they make them they are great piece's but there seems to be some inconsistancies in their production.

I'm not sure if he was in a combat stance when he shot the groundhog he was talking about and showed pictures of or not. I think he was talking more about carrying a sidearm while affield than personal protection in an urban area. Truthfully, I see nothing wrong with the tackdriver comment. He wasn't talking about using it against bandits in a shootout, just a rampaging groundhog. Unless the earlier comments were from another website and I am totally wrong.
