I started out with a Lee Anniversary kit and the only thing I use from it anymore is their hand priming tool (which is a pretty good one). Most of the stuff in that kit was just plain junk, but it did accomplish the goal of getting me started for minimal $. I even broke the press. I've had some Lyman stuff that has been disappointing too. I have a Lyman case trimmer on which the axis is visibly non-concentric. If you want it, I will send it to you for the cost of shipping. It does work. RCBS seems pretty solid. I have two of their rock chuckers and still use them all the time. Redding stuff is very high quality and Sinclair International is the Cadillac. For someone just starting out I think the best thing is to get a rock chucker and a few other basic items as was mentioned before. Also there is a ton of reloading data available online. The powder companies all seem to have it available online. Just run a couple searches. For instance just run a google search for ".243 loading data" and see what comes up.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.
