Yea Widow it's going to take some getting used to. It's kind of fun though to have something to experiment with. I've not been having the best luck on yotes this past week. I didn't open my scope covers and had one charge my caller at the 10 second mark, only to raise my rifle and realize I'd screwed up, then missed on the run off, I bumped one, then I saw one come across the field I'd just been calling while I stood talking to the farmer when he stopped by my truck, then I missed this one.
Baldy, From what I understand mid-length gas is the preferred set up for the 6.8 SPC. About all of the barrels I've seen have mid length gas ports. I got an A-2 style flash suppressor in mine. It does have 5/8-24 threads. What kind of forearm did you get?

Have a merry Christmas Y'all.. Coyote 6974
