I know nothing about the grendal, but the 6.5 x 284 is what a bunch of F-class shooters shoot

I know there have been some manufactures that have tried to produce a cartrige similar to the 6.5mm x 284. Hey weed any of the guys at Longs shoot that
caliber?

Yeah I've seen a few of those being shot there. It's mostly .308 shooters. but a little of everything. Really there's rarely more than 5 or 6
people there, some days I'm there alone. You tend to see the same few people and rifles over and over.

Yeah it's 300 to start and 200 every year after that. Well worth it IMO.
I find that 1000 is way different than 800. Strange forces at work on certain days. That last 200 yards is the Bermuda triangle. 600 yd CAKE 700yd slight challenge 800yd little harder 900yd kinda hard 1000 WTF!?!?

Yes there's an opening in the tree lines between 7 and 9. If the wind angle is just right it shoots through there and starts carrying you away. Sometimes
it blows all your dope that held true to 700 to hell. Other days you could swear it should be doing it, but it doesn't. Before you hit 700 wind is just
not a huge factor inside the tree lines, even when it really blowing.
